hi. my name is ashley cortez.

I’m currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in digital journalism at California State University, Fresno, with a minor in LGBTQ+ studies.

Outside of school, I serve as the Director of Diversity & Inclusion for the Fresno State Esports program. In this role, I manage our female and non-binary esports teams and. work hard to create an inclusive environment for everyone involved.

When I’m not on campus, you can find me at my local comic book store hunting for the latest Batman comic. I’m also deeply passionate about video editing, writing, and, of course, Taylor Swift. Trust me, these are the only things I talk about most days.

Before discovering my passion for esports, I gained experience as a social media and marketing intern at Oakland Recording and as an editorial intern at DBLTAP.
